working on new homepage - http://www.viviti.me/starrweaver

I'm wanting to find a way to earn more income, so that I can make a fresh start with my kids. Wanting to move to the west coast and get away from the south & east coast.

Have home that needs work, but nothing here but bad energy & memories. Need to make a clean break & start over. Have skills in web design, writing, cooking, knowledge on various subjects. Hoping to earn enough to move - house, furnishings & such will be left behind. Taking only personal items & sentimental treasures. Less costly this way...

Any suggestions on how to secure some property out in OR - WA- area...let me know. Just need land with maybe a double wide that's livable to start with. Water/sewer set up on property, don't really need elect. if generator is avail.

No restrictions on land use, want to be able to have crops & livestock. Want to put up solar, wind and water systems. Open to living/purchase options...

in response to TuesdaysPrayer...   Whatever you do this Holiday, he won't remember it - but if you want to make it special you already have everything you need. The two of you.
But if you want to make something for him to discover when he's older. You can make a Memory box.

Take lots of pictures of you and him together, take a picture with Santa, if you can find a good one & one that won't charge you. Take him to the mall/shopping center that has decorations. Take pictures with him there. If you have a Christmas tree with lights, little ones are often mesmerized by them. lol It's a great way to get some cute pictures of them.

Then if you want, go to the Dollar Store, the Salvation Army or even Goodwill and get some cheap, colorful wrapping paper, small bag of stick on bows and masking tape. Pick up some soft cuddle toys, some booties and maybe see if you can find a band with jingle bells on it. (My son loved hearing the sleigh bells on my door. I was lucky and got a blow up plastic ball and put some small bells inside that tinkled and he would roll that ball all over.)
Then make some cookies, take lots of pictures, let him have a lick of the spoon. I make chocolate chips, gingerbread and sugar cookies for the Holidays. Play some Christmas music, the softer and happy kind. I found my kids weren't too crazy about the orchestra and louder songs.

But most of all make sure that you have all sorts of pictures, save a lock of hair in wax paper & plastic. Have a baby spoon, his booties & infant cap, receiving blanket, rattle and all the items from his first year carefully wrapped or inside a Ziploc bag. Have audio too...there are a few ways to do that. You may need to ask someone for help. But a CD or DVD with short movies, audio tracks and such could be made. My cousin does them for friends and people that want a better way to save wedding videos. You could record a lullaby or two and maybe a special goodnight prayer or a special birthday message from you. If you say "Your another year older today..." instead of a set year, it would be for any year. That way it won't matter what year he gets the memory box.
Include letters to him, telling about what's going on and how you feel. Be honest with your feelings, about your hopes & dreams.
Wear a favorite scent that your son will remember some day, it could be something that you wear for the Holidays or your all year round scent. Put a small bit on a cotton hanky and place in a Ziploc bag to put into the box.

Now for Christmas, use that colorful paper to wrap up some things, no matter what it is, put it into a box. Clothes - in a box. Some blocks - if not in a box, put into a box. Because kids seem to love boxes - my daughter played more with the box her ride & rock pony came in than with it on Christmas. lol The bows are a fun touch. Plus a few pictures with bows stuck on his shirt, head are cute.

It isn't about the "things" you have or don't have. It's about the most important thing that you do have - love.
Capture it for the memory box, enjoy each squeal and tear, but most of all, be together. That will be the best Christmas gift of all.

I hope you all the very best, warmest wishes & brightest blessings this Holiday Season.

in response to Chetta37...   We are going through this right now! We have been told to send the same papers 3 times, because they "aren't" recieving them, even though I have the fax sheet that says successful...I even put the loan # on every single paper they requested! At first we were told we didn't qualify, then they said we weren't behind enough, etc. I am also questioning their answers and requests...it is almost as though they want to find out how much you pay attention and fight back, before they will do anything! So far we are stillpending the "Relationship Manager's" approval...? what ever that means

Okay, I went through the exact same thing just last year! I jumped through the same rings of fire for the loan company to tell me I didn't make enough money to have my payment lowered (can you beleive that)!!! They finally told me they would lower my payment by a whopping...(drum roll)$3 a month hahaha! They sent me the loan packet to that effect, I did not sign it. At this point I was so fed up, I stopped making payments (I had not missed a payment and had not been late either until this point), then told them to lower the payment on my house or come and get the keys! I figured I didn't have anything more to loose and I couldn't keep paying the outrageous payment I was making for the duration of the loan, so if I was going to loose it anyway I might as well save what money I could and move. Well, I kept demanding the modification and what do you know the payment was magically reduced by $200 per month. The truth of the matter is the mortgage company would rather have someone paying on the loan then not. Meaning if they foreclose on you, they would have to pay for the up keep on an abandoned house until it sold (if ever). The mortgage companies know better than you how hard it is to sell a house in this market now a days. Some money is better than no money. What I also did was question them specifically about what the ratio of debt to income needed to be in order for me to qualify for the modification, then I prayed about it and let God do His thing! Best case cenario you can play chicken with them and win or worse case cenario, stop making your payments, save your money and move! You should be able to save a good six months worth of payments before you absolutely have to move out of the house. I know the latter part sounds horrible, but it sounds like you've tried playing fair enough but in the end you have to do what you have to do to make sure you will be alright and having a place to live is a definite security we all need. God bless

in response to Mimzy...   You are welcome. I had pneumonia once when I was about 24. It was walking pneumonia and I didn't know it. My back hurt so bad I went to a DC thinking I pulled something lifting 70 pound sacks at work. Then I ended up at the doctors and the hospital for the pneumonia.
I hope you feel better soon as I have had bronchitis and bruised my ribs from coughing so much. I made my doctor x ray me as I hurt so bad. I felt like I broke a rib. Neither is fun to have and you had these at an early age.
We are having they said colder weather for here at this time of year and I went to bed a while to get under the blankets.
        I will take care.
Get well as soon as possible. I hope you can go to the doctor for help with this.
I hope you are back really soon too.
        Take care and get well,

in response to Starshine...   Thanks for the well wishes, been having a terrible time with the coughing as I've a weak respiratory. Used to get rather ill with pneumonia and bronchitis as a kid and it took it's toll. Even though I did cross country as a teen, it wasn't till my mid to late 20's that I started having breathing issues.
What was once mild asthma is now worse, thanks to getting sick some years back. I've had to use my inhaler a few times the last week due to having trouble breathing.

Still foggy and unfocused, hopefully I'll be able to clear up in a few days. I need to get back to work or I don't earn my income...so I need to get better.
With the cough and congestion left to get rid of yet, I hope won't last much longer. The coughing is rather painful and harsh, plus I'm very sore from it...my chest, throat... I sometimes end up with a headache from it.

Be careful and take care not to catch a chill. This is a very nasty bug to deal with...time to rest...
Hope to be back again soon..

Oh no! I am sorry you are sick. This bug seems like for most people it hangs around for a few weeks. I feel cold but no chills just not a fan of cooler weather. I am trying to mend a leg potential ulcer and was told to stop the remedy for two days. Good I can have coffee one shot in the morning.
I hope you feel better soon. Do you have anything for your sore throat to gargle with? Like salt water and even I have used on the advice of MD vitamin C powder or tablets crushed to gargle with. That is why I don't want to go to a doctors office this time of year until March cause people are sick with it.
Get well and get lots of rest,

in response to Starshine...   Been dealing with a sick brood of kids. Haven't had much time to catch up on too much, between working on the sites and taking care of the young ones.

Trying to catch up on my social sites, answer mail, posts and see what others are up to. But haven't had the time to really do to much.

I'm pretty beat myself, been working a bit longer than I should. Need to get more sleep and try not to let my immune system get too weak from stress and lack of slumber time.
Don't need to get sick myself as I've too much to do and I need to keep everything else running smoothly.

Well, it's 44 tonight and I'm going to call it well done...as I've got to get some sleep if I'm going to get back to work in the morning.
Take care and try to stay warm and out of the chilly weather.
With the bugs going around you don't need to get some nasty cold or such.

Keep in touch, talk with you later...have a nice morning.

in response to Starshine...   Last I'd heard from nini3 she was sending the laptop back again cause it wasn't fixed right. But my cousin did a temp fix on mine, but I need to get another hard drive soon. I was able to back up my files but I am on borrowed time as he said the drive could go at any time.

I've just got to try and find another 120gig or bigger to replace this one asap - so I'm looking around for a way to do that.

Just wish I was getting more hits and more traffic to my sites. I've been posting on http://www.bukisa.com/people/Starrweaver with some hope there of making some money. It's a place to post articles, etc and earn cash. Not sure how it works, but I'll try to figure it out.

Either way it's just a matter of time before my system shuts down if I don't get another drive. This computer is over 4yrs old, I'm surprised it's lasted this long. Just hope the power pack holds up for now. I know where to find great deals on tech gear and systems, but even though it's a deal...I can't afford it. A 3gightz pc for under $220 incl. shipping...yep, with a 500gig HD and up to 2gigs of RAM - could even add a high end graphics card, flat screen and more and still stay under the $250 mark.

Well, gotta run...youngest wants to play cards...he wants to learn Magic so he can play with us. lol He's doing pretty good, picks up fast.

Take care and hope to be around...
